The French blatting Company have two gites, The MG Suite and the Lotus Suite at their farm on the border of the Loire Valley and Brittany.
Lynne and Norman offer the gites to members of the numerous MG clubs (which Norman is a member of most) for the cost price of £120* per week. The normal price for gites in the area is around £500/£600 per week.
The gites are modern, light and airy. There are lots of places to visit within a hour or so's drive.
To book, drop an email to norman@frenchblat.com with your preferred dates (Saturday to Saturday only Please) and which club you belong to. Payment will be due around May time and Norman will email you the bank details when he thinks of it.
Norman has a 1949 MG TC which he spent 13 months renovating since buying it from a chap in Sheffield who had kept it on bricks in a lock-up for 48 years. You can see the blog of the renovation HERE. He also has a 220 BHP Caterham which weighs in at 500 kgs and has a full carbon fibre body. You can add a 1973 Series 3 Land Rover to the list. La Foie is a petrol heads heaven.
The farm is between the villages of Armaille and Noellet. The nearest town is Pouance. It is about 45 minutes from Angers and and hour and half from Nantes. Rennes is about 45 minutes away. THIS is the Google map of the farm.
The Lotus Suite, is pictured here. The MG suite is similar except it's slighty larger (a few inches) but doesn't have a side window in the bedroom.

*The 2017 price. will have to go up to £140, (from £120), as we will have to decorate next year and will need some funds for this. However, we will keep it at £120 for bookings made before 1st May 2016 . Non-club members price is £295 pw.
